When can I expect my housing offer ?

We do our best to find and send you the offer as quickly as possible.  Therefore, upon availability, and once you’ve signed up for our services, you can expect your housing offer at any moment. Nevertheless, keep in mind that the official time frame for that is 1 July – 15 August.

When CAn I SIGN UP ?

The Housing and Integration Assistance form is available to sign up as of 1 March 2022.

Can i share accommodation with my firend(s)?

When requesting our services and filling in the form on our website, you can tell us about your preferences to share your future student housing with your friend(s), who will be studying in the same city. However, please keep in mind that this is only a preference and we cannot guarantee that you and your friend(s) will receive housing offers for the same accommodation. Housing in the Netherlands is scarce. Nevertheless, we will do our utmost to accommodate your criteria and preferences as much as possible.

WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED ?

Once you sign up and pay the fee you will have your Intro Call with one of our Guides, who will tell you more about the required documents. Such documents are: proof of enrollment and income statements for the income of your parents for the last 2 years. These will be used and presented to your potential landlord/agency when assessing your application for the housing we find you.

IS IT ONLY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ?

Currently, we are mostly focusing on assisting first-year international students arriving to the Netherlands. We believe that it is even more difficult for these students to find proper, affordable housing and to avoid housing scammers, since they are not in the country yet. However, we are happy to assist other students as well. If you are not a first-year student, feel free to contact us at info@simplestay.nl to further discuss your situation.

UNTIL WHEN CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER ?

You can cancel your order and receive a full refund only before we send you an official housing offer. Once you receive your offer, our service is deemed completed and no refund can be requested at this point anymore.
