Who we are

SimpleStay Ltd. or www.simplestay.nl is a company that provides mediation services for students. We at SimpleStay strive to help students coming to the Netherlands with finding proper housing and integrating carefree into the new environment. We shall always protect the data of our clients and use it only to support our services – we will never sell the data collected throughout the process with any 3rd parties, we can only share it with them, if required, so that we can execute successfully our services.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Media

We can ask you to send us your personal photo, scan of ID card or proof of payment for our services. We require this data to be able to help you with finding housing and with integration.

Contact Forms

All the personal information we collect through our contact form on our website as – First Name, Last Name, email address – have the sole purpose to help us get back to you with more information about our services, new offerings and other important information related to our company. The information will never be shared with any 3rd parties for any other reasons than that of executing our services.

Registration Forms

All the personal data we collect through our registration form is used solely for the purpose of successfully executing our services. We shall never share, nor sell that information to any 3rd parties. We shall only share that information with partners and companies only for the purpose of helping our clients with housing and integration.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name and email address in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who we share your data with

In the process of finding you proper student accommodation, we might need to share part of your personal data with 3rd parties, namely potential landlords, real estate agencies and potential flatmates. This data is only shared for purposes of assisting you find housing and integrate better.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their registration form. All clients can request their personal information at any time (except they cannot change any of the information, if not required from us or if a mistake has been made during the registration ). Clients can also request that their information has been deleted, only if, they do not use or have not used our services. For clients, we must keep the collected data and invoices for tax purposes, at least, 5 years.  Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have made an order on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
