    Description

    HOUSING ASSISTANCE

Based on your criteria and needs, we will do our utmost and find you suitable and affordable student housing.

Throughout the last 2 years of helping international students, we’ve managed to create a vast network and come up with innovative ways to find suitable and affordable student accommodation.

›  All the houses that we find and suggest to you, are personally checked by one of our SimpleStay Guides, or are rented out by one of our trusted partners.

Secure your spot on our House list by signing up for our services.

    INTEGRATION ASSISTANCE

Our SimpleStay Guides, who are current students and recent graduates, will help you integrate faster and better in the Netherlands by covering important topics, sharing tips and experience with you.

During your Integration Call you will have a video chat with your assigned personal Guide and you will discuss a number of topics and all the questions you may have regarding your new journey. The parents are always welcome to join these calls.

Getting Integration Assistance from us is key because it will save you time and stress on the long term. Our Guides have been through what you will go through, so they will provide you with useful bits of advice, and share their experience and lessons learned.

    This is how it works

Here you will find all the steps of the process from signing up for our services to completion.
Once you decide to sign up and use our services, you will have to fill in a quick questionnaire to tell us more about yourself and your housing needs. Here you can also tell us about your preferences for living with friends, for example. Signing up will secure your spot on our House list. The sooner you apply, the better chances you have to get your student housing before you start with your studies.
After we receive your request for our services and within 5 business days, after your payment has been registered in our system, a SimpleStay representative will get in touch with you over the phone to have you Intro Call. During this call, you will find out more about what’s next.

During your Intro Call you will be requested to gather and prepare a list of documents and to make a short video ID  to introduce yourself to your potential future landlord and flatmates. These two steps are essential in the process of finding your new home in the Netherlands.

Having your criteria and preferences in mind, we will do our utmost to find your new student home in the Netherlands. You will receive an official housing offer from us, via email, in the period 1 July – 15 August.

Once received, you have 3 options:
    1. To accept the offer and to move on to signing a contract with the landlord/agency.
    2. To decline the offer and stop our housing search.**

    3. To decline the offer and sign up for our additional House list.*

*You can cancel anytime, before receiving a housing offer from us, and get your money back. Once an offer is sent to you, our service is considered completed and you can’t cancel anymore at this point.

    ** Additional fees apply

If you accept the housing offer that we’ve sent you, you will then be assigned a Personal Guide.

You will discuss a number of important topics, related to the life in the Netherlands, such as: registering at the municipality, opening a bank account, applying for study financing, travelling, getting a student job, tips about lectures and university classes and many more.

It’s time to arrive to the Netherlands and move in your new home here! During your Integration Call, your personal Guide will tell you what the best way to get to your accommodation is.

In addition to that, you will be able to request an additional pick up service from the train station by one of our Guides, who will take you to your student housing, helping you to move in.
Stay up to date with our website to find out more about this service when it gets announced.
